Marci Newell is our Family Nurse Practitioner and works directly with Dr. Kleppinger in the office.
Marci Newell, FNP Marci grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Laramie in 1977 to attend the University of Wyoming and received a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Expanding her interest in working with people, she turned to Nursing and earned her Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of Northern Colorado School of Nursing in 1986. The next 13 years provided a wide range of Nursing experiences, both in Hospital settings and Public Health. In Carbon County, she received specialized training as a Lactation Educator and worked with premature infants and high risk infants. Marci was the Best Beginnings Coordinator for Carbon County. Marci moved back to Laramie from Saratoga in 1998 to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing with training as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In September of 1999 she joined us at Laramie Pediatrics, PC as our Nurse Practitioner. Marci is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In our practice setting, Marci provides comprehensive Pediatric Care to all of our patient groups. Marci has several specific focus areas of Pediatric Practice:
