Nicko Kleppinger, RN is our part time office Nurse.

 

 

Nicko Kleppinger, RN

Nicko Kleppinger Grew up in North Dakota and received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1987 from Dickenson State University in Dickenson North Dakota. She moved to Laramie and attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1991 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

As a Registered Nurse, she started working in 1987 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in the Family Care Unit as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. In 1991 she began working both at the Hospital and for Dr. William Smith, then a new OB/GYN Physician here in Laramie. In 1993 she went  to work full time in Dr. Smith's office and worked occasionally with Dr. Kleppinger in Pediatrics. In 1997 she changed over to a Pediatric Nurse working with Dr. Kleppinger and when the new office opened in January 1999 became the Full Time Pediatric Nurse in our new office.

This last year Nicko changed roles with Kirsten to be our part time nurse, to enable her to spend more time with Grandkids, Laramie Jubilee Days and the hospital Foundation.

Nicko is particularly helpful with

  • Answering phone questions for parents
  • Relaying more complex medical questions to Dr. Kleppinger and Marci
  • Helping Mothers with questions about Breast Feeding
