University of Wyoming Athletics Primary Care Program

Beginning in 2007, Dr. Kleppinger and Marci Newell, FNP began providing primary care for 470 University of Wyoming Student Athletes. Since then we have developed a comprehensive medical program providing all aspects of medical care for these student athletes. From Football to basketball, soccer to volleyball, track and wrestling to tennis and swimming, we provide care for all the quality athletes at UW.

Dr. Kleppinger, team physician for UW travels with the UW Football program and along with Marci attends all home Basketball games, volleyball and soccer. In addition, all conference games for basketball are attended by Dr. Kleppinger.

We provide all outpatient services at the medical clinic inside the Rochelle Athletic Center located next to the Football and Arena Auditorium Complex. From NCAA participation physicals to inpatient treatment, comprehensive medical care is provided to the elite athletes.
