Basic things to remember about the Internet

The internet is a great resource with a catch. Always know where your children are going on the "net", and make it a family activity rather than an isolating hideout for computer users. Using the "net" responsibly can make it the world wide resource it was intended to be.


The following internet sites are websites our office is currently affiliated with:

www.beansprout.net

Beansprout is a national network of Pediatricians and has a sign on information page then you go to a Pediatrician's site.  Our "Keyword" for our site is "klepmd."

www.cdc.org

The CDC Website has continually updated and accurate information about immunizations, illnesses and accident, injury information. The site has links to other government sites about other health topics and information about health concerns for the public.

www.aap.org

is the American Academy of Pediatrics website, and has a lot of very useful  information for parents.

www.Ivinsonhospital.org

Ivinson Memorial Hospital has a website with information about it's services, Physicians and community programs.

www.vaccines.ashastd.org/index.html  The CDC National Immunization information Hotline Homepage is the place for the most up-to-date immunization information, including vaccine schedules, side effects, contraindications, recommendations and more. You can also call to order free publications and obtain referrals to many immunization resources such as clinics, coalitions, local and state programs, drug companies and many others.
